We took my daughter's car to PDR for a repair. After years paying dealership repair costs, I expect a similar bill. They were honest, telling us that a part needed tightened, no parts required. I appreciate their thoroughness in locating the problem, providing documentation of the entire process, and not overcharging for the fix. Will definitely be a return customer and will recommend to anyone looking for a mechanic.

Took my car here to get my AC repaired. And an oil change, I was told it would be colder and it wouldn’t be completed fixed but just a small leak until it was repaired. I spent $700 to pick my car and the ac still blowing cold air. And when I called I was told it was high because of the cost of my Freon. I called my mechanic from my home town and he agreed that there was absolutely no way I should’ve spent the money I did for the work they “did”. Will definitely not be going back. Addition: I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel like people should know to GET A SECOND OPINION before approving repairs here. I was given an estimate for multiple repairs and couldn’t believe the prices after the original work (5,000 and then another 2000 for my AC) so I took my vehicle somewhere else. Here are some examples of what I was quoted here versus what I actually paid elsewhere: Cabin filter: $70 vs. $19 Brakes: $535 vs. $168 Spark plugs: $375 vs. $60 Belt: $195 vs. $40 Battery: $415 vs. $120 A/C repair: $2,100 vs. $650 For just those repairs, I was quoted approximately $3,690 and paid about $1,057 elsewhere. We took our car here and was charged 236$ for a diagnostic fee and then they referred us to another shop because they wouldn't work on it. I understand a fee for checking it out but 236$ was excessive for a REPEAT customer especially since they wouldn't fix it. Also we had an appointment and it took 7 days before it was brought into the shop.

Great customer service and great technicians! My car issues have continued after visiting two other shops that did limited inspection work and did not completely fix the problem. PDR listened to my concerns and because the other shops "could not replicate" the situation, they had a technician ride in the car with me until the issue could be identified. I am beyond grateful and drove the car to Chicago with NO ISSUES for the first time in two months. Thank you to Jason for listening and diagnosing the issues with my 2015 Malibu. I hope to drive this car for another 80,000 miles and will bring my car to only PDR from now on!

Had a car repair issue right before the holidays, and Josh not only explained exactly what the problem was, but also gave a quick explanation of how to prevent the same issue in the future (moral of the story...don't "round up" at the gas pump to try to squeeze a little more fuel in, LOL). However, I really appreciated his professionalism and explanation. He was able to get me an appointment before they closed down for the holidays between Christmas and New Years, and not only was the car done on-time, but everything was handled expertly from start to finish. Josh and team are some of the best mechanics in town, and quite frankly, I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else when something significant like this is needed. Their prices are fair, and their work is incredibly good.
